a. Grey Eye Surveillance and Investigation offers surveillance and investigation services. Specific service details are governed by these terms.
4. Service Delivery
a. Services begin and end as mutually agreed.
b. We are not responsible for external factors beyond our control affecting service delivery.
c. Service timelines are estimates and may vary.
5. Client Obligations and Conduct
a. Clients must provide accurate and complete information.
b. Misusing our services for illegal or emotive purposes is prohibited.
c. Clients must use the information provided responsibly, ethically, and legally.
6. Surveillance and Reporting
a. Updates may be provided without comprehensive written reports.
b. While photographic or video imagery evidence is not guaranteed, we strive to capture relevant movements.
c. No refunds for lost subjects or incomplete evidence.
d. While we strive to obtain comprehensive evidence, in some instances this may not be possible. This includes inactivity or loss of subject. Evidence gathered may be sufficient but not comprehensive. In such instances, we will retain the full agreed service fee.
e. At times during our services, we may have to abort the operation to ensure we stay within the legal boundaries of UK law. In these instances, a report outlining our justification will be provided. The agreed fee for our services will be retained by us in full.
f. We advise you have any documentation provided by us, The Grey Eye Group inspected by a legal professional before any legal proceedings to ensure it is admissible in any legal proceedings.
7. Payments and Invoicing
a. Various payment methods are accepted; some may be refused.
b. Full payment is required before the commencement of our services.
c. Additional payment will be required for any extension of services requested by you.
d. Late payments may incur additional charges and potential legal action.
8. Cancellations and Refunds
a. Cancellation of our services must be made at least 48 hours before the commencement of our services. Payment will be retained in full if cancellation occurs less than 48hrs.
b. If cancelation is requested once our services have commenced, work will terminate with immediate effect, however the service fee will be retained in full.
9. Liability and Indemnification
a. Our liability is limited to the cost of the services provided.
b. We are not liable for indirect losses or damages.
c. Clients agree to indemnify us from any legal claims arising from their use of our services.
10. Confidentiality and Data Protection
a. We maintain the confidentiality of clients' information and that of any 3rd parties provided.
b. All data handling complies with relevant UK/EU data protection laws.
c. All information and evidence provided by The Grey Eye Group must be handled and used in line with all legal requirements of UK/EU law and in an ethical manner. All evidence gathered is independent and without bias. Grey Eye Surveillance and Investigation accept no responsibility or liability for any outcomes of our findings or the mishandling of the information.
d. All information related to our services must be kept strictly confidential between us and you. This is essential to maintain discretion and ensure the smooth execution of our services without the risk of compromise and is vital for the health and safety of all parties involved.
11. Termination and Modification of Terms
a. We reserve the right to modify these terms without prior notice.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by UK law and subject to the jurisdiction of UK courts
13. Additional Provisions
a. We reserve the right to refuse service at our discretion.
b. Disputes will be resolved through mediation before any legal proceedings.
c. We adhere to professional standards and regulations for private investigation services.
d. All evidence gathered is independent and without bias. The Grey Eye Group accept no responsibility or liability for any outcomes of our findings. The Grey Eye Group may potentially become a witness in instances where this is not the case. We will fully support the legal authorities where necessary with any criminal investigation.
e. Any contracts agreed for our services between The Grey Eye Group and you, the client are considered as entering into an agreement and acceptance of these Terms of Business and are legally binding.
f. Independent subcontractors may be utilised to carry out services on behalf of The Grey Eye Group. All independent contractors are subject to a vetting process to ensure they meet the professional standards and values upheld by The Grey Eye Group, possess all relevant insurances and the required level of equipment to carry out our services.
h. In relation to any family law requests, we may seek evidence of any current and ongoing legal proceedings.
